About «School of civic participation»
It is a school of training of public sector of the small cities and villages where people who live in the territory of a community, persons interested in gaining of knowledges, skills concerning development of local community are selected on a competitive basis . Project is realized with financial support of Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
Aim
To contribute to sustainable development of local communities through competency increasing of community leaders in the School of civic participation.

The first year of project is realizing at the moment, it has begun in 2016. Seven trainings had been held for the participants of the project. Several trainings and third National Conference «Social animation for development of community and culture» are going to be held in the near future. The project should be ended till 31 December 2017.

- The coverage of activity by the media - 41 publications (articles in newspapers and magazines, videos on TV), 625 publications on the Internet (news, thematic, articles).
- 12 editions of ISCM were edited.
- "The social animator in development of society" photo contest was held in Facebook in the "Centers of Local Activity of Ukraine" group.
- Two summarizing National Conferences «Social animation for development of community and culture» were carried out in the frames of the project.
- Foreign trainers of public sector were involved for holding trainings.

Having gained knowledge, skills of work in society, participants actively provide trainings, round tables, tenders, shares, social games, thematic holidays and other actions for increase in level of unity, awareness and unity of society.
Feedback
I want to express sincere gratitude to the team of the ISCM for organizing actions for public activists. Trainings, practical sessions, involvement of the Ukrainian and international trainers opened new opportunities for me and helped for successful work directed on the interests of society. Participation in this project is an increase of my professional skill as public activist. Personally for me "The school of civic participation - 2" was a unique platform which became a work reference point for development of society. I am proud of that was lucky enough to be the participant of this school.

The School of Civic Participation — 2 project, personally for me, became the beginning of new activity in my life. This project gave a strong impetus and dynamics of personal and professional development. Many ideas which were possible to embody thanks to training on "School of civic participation - 2" turned in the head on the way back from an every training. Except strong professional support, this project is also possibility of new and interesting acquaintances, exchange of experience, the organization of cooperation and discussion. It is worth noticing professionalism of organizers of school, each meeting left behind only positive memoirs and high level of the acquired knowledge.

My acquaintance with ISCM has happened at a conference where I listened to all information from experts with pleasure. To become I was lucky the participant of "School of civic participation" in a year.
